LIVE THE WORD AND LEAVE THE WORLD
Acts 11:26.
The Christian phrase began at Antioch, it wasn’t just a religious
title, traditional display but an inward observation of true godliness. They saw
the qualities of Christ in them and could not help but call them Christians. Our
lives should demonstrate our faith in Christ. It is time we focus on the
essence of our calling.
Living the word
simply means focusing on the message of Christ, allowing him to mould us into his likeness. It shouldn’t be dogmatic and sectarian. Christianity is a life…
it is the adoption of the life of Christ by faith. It is an exchange of
burdens, attitude and attribute. You cannot encounter Jesus and remain the same.
It is an error to retain any part of you after your encounter with Christ. Allow
Jesus to crush, cure and care for you.
When Jesus crushed sin on the cross it was total and
complete, he didn’t take break to pay another price for sin. He said it is
finished. You need proper understanding of your encounter else you will remain
slave to sin. (Rom 6:5,6 KJV) For if we have been planted together in the likeness
of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing
this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be
destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. When you encounter
Jesus without proper understanding of what he did on the cross for you, you will keep serving sin. Think of any sin that weigh you down,
think of that habit that keep molesting and making you have low self-esteem…
Jesus paid it all and owe non. You have to launch into the depth of his
sacrifice and allow his grace to wipe away your disgrace. Let him crush away
the dross and crude of your sin. By so doing you will have identity with him. If
you are operating on a low understanding, Satan will take hold of you and dish
out very many lies to enslave you. Encounter with Christ will not leave any stone unturned.
It is full and free. Don’t carry your burden anymore.
Allow him
to cure you:
When Jesus comes into
your life, he will heal your broken hearted and cure your diseases, you
cannot encounter him and remain in your sickness. Sin is a plague and a
terrible disease. So attack the virus through faith in the atoning blood then
the entire body will be free from all forms of sickness, sin and Satan’s
manipulation. Oh yes! God has so much interest in making you totally whole. (Matthew
4:23) And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching
in their synagogues, and preaching
the gospel of the kingdom,
and healing all manner
of sickness and all
manner of disease among the people. Jesus healed those who had encounter
with him then and he is still healing people now. Surrender to him today. When you
truly surrender to him, you can easily live His life unhindered. Lay aside
anything that stops you. Put on Christ as a garment, that is exactly what
happens to you. Imagine carrying Jesus and sickness in your body, (it is impossible).
Allow him to take of care you:
Yes Jesus truly cares for his own, on several occasions he expressed his love towards his followers. He will give you the needed attention, it doesn’t matter whose wife, husband, child you are. Encounter with Him changes everything around and within. People will notice the difference between the old you and the new you. (1 Pet. 5: 7) Casting all your cares upon him for he careth for you. First thing first surrender your life to Jesus, allow him to crush away the pains, cure you and care for you. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Finally leave the world
2 Cor. 6:17 "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you",
The cares of this life is taking away the centrality of the
gospel. Christians tend to propagate trends and happenings more than they
preach the gospel, undermining their mandate. Sit up dear Christian Brothers
and sisters, there’s an urgent work to do. You were not saved from your sin to
become a “celebrated comedian.” Preach
the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all
longsuffering and doctrine. (2 Tim. 4:2). Children of the Lord do not
be wed to the world.
Let others see Jesus in you
While passing thro' this world of sin,
and others your life shall view.
Be clean and pure without, within;
Let others see Jesus in you.
Let others see Jesus in you,
Let others see Jesus in you.
Keep telling the story, be faithful and true;
Let others see Jesus in you.
Your life's a book before their eyes,
They're reading it thro' and thro'
Say, does it point them to the skis,
Do others see Jesus in you?
Let others see Jesus in you,
Let others see Jesus in you.
Keep telling the story, be faithful and true;
Let others see Jesus in you.
Then live for Christ both day and night,
Be faithful, be brave and true,
and lead the lost to life and Christ.
Let others see Jesus in you.
Let others see Jesus in you,
Let others see Jesus in you.
Keep telling the story...
